Get online golf lessons from the pros

A new website has been launched for golfers to get personal golf lessons from some of Europe’s top coaches online.

The website, P7 Golf, was created by coaches James Ridyard and Javier Nigard to offer golfers who don’t have the time or the money to invest in face-to-face lessons with a pro.

Between them the pair have experience working with top professionals on the PGA, European and Ladies European Tours as well as complete beginners.

They believe the website will allow more golfers access to good advice on a regular basis rather than perhaps going for a single lesson or trying to work through problems themselves. Golfers have to film themselves from two angles (face on and down the line) doing anything from driving to putting before uploading the files to the website.

They will then receive a video response, pictures (including comparisons) and a list of practice drills to improve their swing. They can also choose from three different price plans including £19 for a single lesson, £39 for a monthly plan (four lessons) or £299 for a yearly plan (52 lessons).

Ridyard said: “These days many golfers find it difficult to make time for lessons and money is also a factor when you take into account travelling costs as well as paying for the lesson.

“A lot of the people I have taught have travelled considerable distances to come and see me and it can be difficult for them to come back on a regular basis for follow ups. But the website makes it much easier and more cost effective to check up on progress and ensure they continue to receive guidance.

“It’s easier than ever to video your swing and upload it onto the course thanks to digital cameras and mobile phones and it means golfers can do it when convenient to them.”
