TG tackles Spurs boss Harry Redknapp

Today’s Golfer recently had an on-course confrontation with soccer’s man-of-the-moment Harry Redknapp.
The encounter took place at the splendid De Vere Wokefield Park venue in Berkshire and saw Harry do battle with TG Courses editor Kevin Brown with the TG20 up for grabs.
It proved a thoroughly enjoyable, entertaining and insightful day with Redknapp revealing all about being the red-hot favourite to take over from Fabio Capello as the next manager of the England national team.
His name was thrown into the ring – and has been ever since – after being cleared of tax evasion charges on the same day Capello stepped down as England boss.
Redknapp pulled no punches about the job – and the beautiful game in general – and admits he does have some reservations about spearheading the national side.
