Published:, the award-winning golf club rental company promoted by Europe’s Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, has expanded its presence in Spain to include new services at Barcelona and Girona airports.

Travelling golfers now have the chance to hire premium sets of clubs from five different locations in Spain, the most popular overseas golfing destination for British and Irish players – attracting 29% of those who travel abroad to play.

The addition of Barcelona and Girona brings the total number of ClubstoHire locations across the Mediterranean to 16 – from Faro in the east to Belek in the west – where sets of the latest clubs can be hired from just €35 per week.

“Our team in Barcelona has over 20 years of experience in the golf business and we see great potential in both new locations with nearby courses such as El Prat and the PGA Catalunya attracting golfers for at least eight months of the year,” said CEO Tony Judge.

As well as adding to its list of rental locations, the company recently re-launched its website ( and expanded its golf clubs offering, with brand new sets of Mizuno JPX-825 clubs available at Faro and Malaga airports. The latest clubs from other leading manufacturers such as TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, Wilson and MD Golf can be hired at all 16 European stores.

For the record, ClubstoHire locations also include Lisbon: Murcia; Alicante; La Linea/Gibraltar; Palma, Majorca; Tenerife; Gran Canaria; as well as Edinburgh and Dublin.
