Your golf travel backs new manchester golf show

The Manchester Golf Show will break new ground when it makes its debut at the start of next month and organisers have called on the expertise of the world’s largest golf travel company to help guarantee the event gets off to a flying start.

Having worked successfully together with Your Golf Travel on previous ventures, event organisers, the Golf Show Group, had no hesitation in renewing their partnership with the innovative company ahead of the show at Manchester’s EventCity from April 5-7.

As part of the agreement, Your Golf Travel will be offering a free £25 voucher to every person who registers with the firm on entry, which will also enter them into a prize draw to win a break at a top golf destination.

Euan Gillon, Your Golf Travel’s head of product, marketing and strategy, said: “We have worked successfully with the Golf Show Group at previous events and we’re delighted to be offered the chance to get involved with new event.

“The north-west is a very strong area for us and, with Manchester having the reputation for being a sports-mad city, the show will give us the chance to meet and greet existing and prospective clients. We’re looking forward to it being a great success.”

The Manchester Golf Show will be the first of its kind to be held in the north-west and organisers are hoping it will be as successful as its established London Golf Show, which is now celebrating its eighth year running.

The new addition to the Golf Show Group’s portfolio will take a similar format to its sister shows and has been designed to provide a truly interactive experience for golf enthusiasts of all ages, with informed technical advice, PGA tuition and education, guest interviews, driving bays, custom fitting, club testing, custom-build trucks, simulators and the latest golf gadgets.

European Tour legend Darren Clarke, the company’s new global brand ambassador, is fronting a major television advertising campaign across Sky TV in the opening four months of this year.

Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter’s clothing company IJP Design has been confirmed as Your Golf Travel’s new official apparel partner.

Your Golf Travel, which was included in the Sunday Times’ Fast Track 100 league table for 2012 for the fourth year running, offers golf holidays and breaks to 22 countries and more than 3,000 destinations worldwide through its website and brochure.
