Justin Rose On Being Our 3D Cover Star

Days after our 25th anniversary issue – featuring sport’s first 3D cover – went on sale, we caught up with the man who helped make it happen to get his thoughts on appearing in 3D.

“It’s the first time I’ve held it in my hand, I’ve seen tweets and pictures of it. It’s very, very cool,” said Justin Rose.

“Obviously the driver pops out in 3D and you feel you can almost reach in and take the driver and touch it.

“I’m looking forward to showing it to my son Leo, when I get back home, to see if he will try and grab it! He’s actually got some 3D puzzles at home so he might try and take it apart and put it back together!” added the world number four.

“I think it’s nice coup for TG to have done the first 3D cover. It’s nice to have a bit of excitement and do new, creative things in golf, and come back to England and Wentworth on the back of it and the buzz from it.

“I remember doing the shoot, out in Qatar and it was a fun process to be a part of and the photographer Howard would shoot the club close up and then me and somehow with the technology put it all back together to create the 3D.”

To see the cover for yourself, pick-up a copy at all good newsagents and supermarkets. Not only will you see England’s best golfer in 3D, you will also get all this incredible content inside!
