Golf is a marathon and not a sprint – a fact emphasised by the Four Course Classic on June 20. The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign’s event (www.fourcourseclassic.co.uk) sees golfers take on four courses from sunrise to sunset. This year’s event is backed by Ryder Cup legend Sam Torrance and Laura Davies. Each team is asked to raise £1,000 towards the charity’s work; the team raising the most winning a luxury golf break.
To celebrate the launch, we have teamed up with Scotland’s Fairmont St Andrews to offer two TG readers the chance to win a fourball each on the Torrance and Kittocks courses at the resort.
Answer the following question: Sam Torrance captained the Ryder Cup team in which year?
