Recreate iconic Ryder Cup moments at The Belfry

We’ve all been there, on the putting green, imagining that we have ‘The putt to win the Ryder Cup!’ Well, this is your chance. Today’s Golfer has teamed up with The Belfry, the spiritual home of the Ryder Cup, to give you the chance to recreate some of the most iconic Ryder Cup moments from the matches in 1985, 1989, 1993 and 2002, which took place at the famous Midlands resort.

From Paul McGinley’s winning putt in 2002 and Seve driving the 10th green in 1985 to Christy O’Connor’s 2-iron into the final hole in 1989 and Philip Price beating Phil Mickelson, The Belfry has hosted some of the most historic Ryder Cup moments.

And we’re giving three lucky TG readers the unique opportunity to recreate their favourites alongside four-time European Team Captain and legend of the matches, Tony Jacklin, before enjoying joining him for a round over The Brabazon, the only four-time Ryder Cup host course.

As well as being regaled by Jacklin on the magic matches our Belfry Moments winners will also be treated to a luxurious two-night stay at the world-renowned resort, which has just undergone an impressive £26 million transformation, and receive an exclusive Ryder Cup goodie bag.
