You can now play golf at the airport while you wait for your flight

There’s nothing more annoying than being stuck at an airport, waiting for a flight, knowing you could be using that time to play at least nine holes of golf. Thankfully, at Minneapolis–St.Paul International Airport, they’ve come up with a perfect solution.

The aiport recently opened a 12,000-foot golfing area, including a putting green and six simulators where you can play your choice of 54 of the world’s finest courses, including the Old Course and TPC Sawgrass.

Clubs and balls are provided, and you can even get a lesson from one of several resident golf professionals.

If you’re thinking, ‘Well that’s all well and good but how often do you think I fly to Minneapolis?’, we’ve got two words for you: Ryder. Cup.

Yes, the 2016 Ryder Cup will be hosted at Hazeltine National Golf Club, just a 30-minute drive from Minneapolis–St.Paul International Airport. You can expect the airport’s golf centre to be pretty busy that week.
