Golfers going for the gold amid Rio2016

Lamkin Grips isn’t quite old enough to have been at the last Olympics; but as the game returns to the world’s greatest sporting spectacle, the 92 year old company are getting firmly in the spirit of the games.

While some of golf’s biggest names are getting ready to battle for national pride and a place on the podium, Lamkin is giving everyday golfers the chance to get their hands on gold this August with the introduction of its Gold Medal Edition Wrap-Tech grip.

Inspired by the sporting events taking place in Rio, the new grip is based on the Lamkin Wrap-Tech as favoured by Miguel Angel Jimenez.

This winning version of Wrap-Tech features Lamkin’s proprietary Double-Helix pattern designed with a smooth spiral for comfort and a high-traction spiral for increased control.
The proprietary metallic compound adds enhanced tackiness and a lighter, softer feel for unmatched grip comfort.

Lamkin Ambassador Justin Rose will be putting his REL ACE 3GEN grips into play for Team GB when the tournament tees off so Lamkin is wishing him the best of luck and hoping that it’s not just club golfers that get their hands on gold for Lamkin this month.
