There are many sights to behold on a golf course, but tee markers are rarely one of them. Often they are unimaginative chunks of plastic or wood, bland in shape and colour. But like the standard of golf, things are often better on the PGA and European Tours, where markers tend to stand out like a birdie on a 28-handicapper’s scorecard.
