How can I watch the Ryder Cup from Whistling Straits on television in the UK?

Today’s Golfer’s Ryder Cup coverage is brought to you in association with Ping.

Sky Sports will have almost 70 hours of live coverage across Ryder Cup week along with a host of extra programmes and documentaries.

Sky’s dedicated Ryder Cup channel will ensure viewers don’t miss a minute from the 43rd event, with everything from practice rounds and press conferences to the celebrity match and opening ceremony shown on TV.

Thursday’s live preview show, which runs for 11 hours from 2pm through to 1am, will see captains Padraig Harrington and Steve Stricker announce their line-ups for the opening morning’s foursomes.

The ‘Live from the Ryder Cup’ show will offer news, interviews and updates from Wisconsin throughout the week, while Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston will be among the guests on ‘Ryder Cup Brunch’, a three-hour daily show over Ryder Cup weekend analysing the previous day’s action and setting guests Ryder Cup-themed shot challenges.

And, if you haven’t managed to stay up to watch the conclusion on the singles, the final day’s play will be repeated in full on Monday, September 27.

Will the Ryder Cup be shown on the BBC?

The BBC doesn’t have live television coverage of the Ryder Cup, but a daily highlights programme will be shown when play concludes each evening with Eilidh Barbour, Iona Stephen, Andrew Cotter and Ken Brown.

There will also be radio coverage throughout the week, including a preview show from 8pm on Thursday, with Iain Carter and the team on BBC Radio 5 Live. BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and BBC Sounds.
