2. The Principal’s Nose
A cluster of three small bunkers on the 16th fairway that owes its name to an ugly projecting porch on the Principal’s house, which was hated by all his neighbours, rather than his actual nose. The Principal officiated at the baptism of Old Tom Morris, and later at his marriage to Agnes Bayne.
