Hundreds of golfers have already entered the 2008 Champion of Champions competition, but there’s still time for you to take part.

HSBC and Golf World have joined forces with Titleist and FootJoy to resurrect this fantastic national tournament, which is FREE to enter here…

The 2008 event will culminate in September’s grand final at Turnberry, in Ayrshire, where players will compete on the revamped Ailsa course – venue for the 2009 Open Championship – and the neighbouring Kintyre course, and stay in Turnberry’s fabulous five-star hotel.

Anyone who won their club’s scratch strokeplay event in 2007 is eligible to enter the Champion of Champions and perhaps follow in the footsteps of previous winners like Gary Lockerbie, who then graduated to the European Tour. Ross Fisher is another star who took part.

Prize Details
The three-day prize package will include a practice round on the Ailsa course, round one of the tournament on the Kintyre and a final round on the Ailsa. Accommodation in the Turnberry Hotel will be provided for every winner.

Titleist, the choice of leading pros around the globe and the leading golf ball on all golf Tours worldwide, will provide Champion of Champions Grand Final qualifiers with their choice of either one dozen Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls.
