Woods heading to Qatar

Tiger Woods is looking at a £4 million payday after apparently signing up for another European Tour event in the desert next year.

According to today’s Mail, Woods will play in the Qatar Masters in February, before heading to the Dubai Desert Classic.

Having secured the 2022 World Cup, the Qataris are confident they can sign another huge draw in Woods, who hasn’t played in the Middle East for two years.

With Mickelson also playing the Desert Swing in Abu Dhabi, as well as Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer and Ian Poulter all making the lucrative trip to the desert, the four-week spell willbe one of the richest in golf.
