Koreans Choi and Yang on the march

There are still two Koreans who still have a very real chance of wearing a Green Jacket on Sunday evening. Y.E Yang and K.J.Choi lie at 5-under and 7-under respectively, and will be right in the mix over the weekend.

“Even when I was 19-years-old and still dreaming of becoming a top professional,”said Y. E. Yang, “the Masters always seemed like the pinnacle of tournaments. Koreans just love this tournament.

The beauty of the place is just incredible with all the green and the flowers. I had a lot of birdie putts, but most of them today were from quite short distances, so my irons were very good.”

Choi is two shots ahead of his countryman; but it could have been a whole lot better.

Coming to the final hole, Choi was at 8-under, and hit two almost perfect shots to 7 feet. He then somehow contrived to three putt, his second putt horse-shoeing out. His supper will not taste quite as good tonight, as it should have done.
