Managers face tricky decisions to meet $15m Fantasy Golf budget

Managers in the Today’s Golfer Fantasy Golf game, in association with Your Golf Travel, are facing some tough decisions ahead of the Masters with a $15m budget to spend on their six-man team.
Every golfer in the game is allocated a value between $0.5m and $5.5m and with every one of the higher value top 50 golfers in the world teeing it up at Augusta National, Fantasy Golf players are faced with some hard judgement calls.
The five favourites with the bookies are worth a combined $23.6m (Tiger Woods is $4.5m, Rory McIlroy is $5m, Phil Mickelson is $3.6m, Luke Donald is $5.5m and Lee Westwood is $5m), so you’ll have to choose your allegiances wisely.
With so many pricey players to accommodate in the $15m budget, you’re going to need a few cheaper players in your team. But fear not, because there’s plenty of value to be had through the field.
Former champions Trevor Immelman ($1m) and Angel Cabrera ($1.2m), PGA Tour winner this season Kyle Stanley ($0.9m) and the on-form Johnson Wagner ($1.4m) are all expected to be popular picks.
There are more than £10,000 of prizes on offer throughout the TG Fantasy Golf season, from The Masters to the DP World Tour Championship in late November.
