Take A Punt On This Week’s US Open

Tiger Woods is now out to 6/1 to win the US Open this weekend with Ladbrokes, with second favourite Phil Mickelson at a massive 20/1.

As Woods approaches the fifth anniversary of his last major win, the firm are ready to take him on and are offering a stand out 6/1 to claim his 15th major title, despite him coming into the tournament with four wins under his belt this year.

Mickelson is followed in the betting by Adam Scott, Matt Kuchar and Rory McIlroy at 25/1, however, with the Ulsterman struggling for form, it’s just 3/1 he misses the cut at Merion.

BMW PGA winner Matteo Manassero is proving a popular each-way bet and has seen his odds trimmed to 50/1 from 66/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Considering Woods hasn’t won a Major in five years it’s difficult to not want to lay him. We can’t give McIlroy away at the moment and unfortunately for him punters are more excited about his chances of an early exit than winning it.”
