Inaugural Mauritius Open to provide plenty of thrills and spills

An exciting field has been confirmed for the inaugural AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, which starts at the Heritage Golf Club tomorrow.

This ground-breaking tournament – the first to be tri-sanctioned between the European, Asian and Sunshine Tours, offers a prize fund of €1m and is exclusively previewed here with Ryan Dodds, Heritage GC’s General Manager.

Entries include Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who recently won his second European Tour title at the Shenzhen International; George Coetzee who also recently won his second European Tour title when he lifted the 2015 Tshwane Open trophy, Scott Hend, one of the most successful international players on the Asian Tour, AfrAsia Bank global ambassador Hennie Otto, who has won 12 titles on the Sunshine Tour, Thomas Levet and Thomas Bjørn, who have won 12 and 15 professional titles respectively.
