Patrick Reed’s 100-yard bunker hole-out leads our Shots of the Week

We’ve had to wait a bit longer to compile this week’s Shots of the Week, thanks to a rain delay causing the OHL Classic in Mexico to run over into Monday. It’s worth the wait, though, with fine shots from that event and the BMW Masters in Shanghai, which saw Sweden’s Kristoffer Broberg seal a maiden European Tour victory.
WIthout any further delay, let’s get cracking.
Patrick Reed’s 100-yard bunker shot
When we’re trying to hit a bunker shot 100 yards, the ball tends to either travel 250 yards, or one yard. Patrick Reed has no such problems, flying straight over the pin before spinning back straight into the hole. What. A Shot.
Charles Howell III reacts like he just thinned one in front of a big crowd, actually nearly made a hole-in-one
We don’t know who took the jam out of Charles Howell III’s doughnut, but we’d be pretty happy with that shot.
There’s never a bad time to almost hole out for eagle
But a particularly good time for Graeme McDowell was on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff, where a tap-in birdie saw him seal victory in the OHL Classic.
