We've always thought it strange that we play golf for enjoyment but the less we do of it, the more we enjoy it. Go out and shoot 65 and you've had a great time. So if you go out and shoot 130, you've had twice as much fun, right? Well, as we all know, it doesn't quite work like that.
It's interesting to watch this video of Rory McIlroy's final round at the DP World Tour Championship, which features only the 66 shots the Race to Dubai winner took, with none of the other stuff in between. Turns out, in your four or five-hour round of golf, you're only actually playing golf for about ten minutes.
Kind of makes us want to walk a bit faster between shots in future.
