Strong driving base

We all want to squeeze a few extra yards out of our driver, and a great place to start is with a strong base to maximise the power we can generate.

Many amateurs that TG Elite Teaching Professional Chris Ryan works with have a weak left side at impact, which prevents them from fulfilling their driving potential. But this can be easily fixed.

You should see a straight line from the hip, through the left knee and down to the left foot at impact, which gives room to open your hips and allows the arms to continue towards the target, creating a few extra yards with the ‘big dog’.
