Stop your slice

Golfers that slice the ball do so because their clubface is open at the point of impact. So a great drill to encourage the clubface to rotate back to square is to set-up with the clubface deliberately open at address. Don’t panic…

As Gareth Johnston explains in this golf video tip, having an open clubface at address programmes the brain to understand that the clubface has to rotate in order to hit the ball straight. This rotation is what is required to turn a weak slice into that sought-after draw!
