Get the correct golf grip

Do you struggle with your golf grip? Watch this Nick Clemens golf video tip to show you the ideal golf grip…

STEP ONE

Place your right hand on top of the handle and align the grip on the left hand where the little finger meets the palm.

STEP TWO

Close the left hand over the club ensuring that the base of the hand is at the end of the grip and the thumb is slightly on the right hand side. If done correctly, you should be able to see 2 to 3 knuckles and a V-shape formed between your left thumb and index finger.

STEP THREE

Use whatever feels the most comfortable for you when integrating your right hand into the grip. Whether you entwine, overlap or use the baseball grip – it’s your choice. The main thing to achieve is making sure that the right hand and the left thumb are married together. When applying pressure, use mainly the top 3 and bottom 3 fingers to allow the wrists to be able to move freely.
