Basic chipping drill

Do you struggle with the basic chip shot? Watch this Nick Clemens golf video tip to improve your basic chipping skills…

Firstly, make sure that the ball is in the centre of your stance.

Have your hands further down the handle to encourage more control of the clubhead.

Ensure that your feet are narrow in width, having the left foot withdrawn to achieve an open stance.

Leave the wrists out of the shot, keep them as passive as possible so that the club, the arms, the hands and the shoulders move backwards and forwards in one action.
