New US Open champion Graeme McDowell has just bagged his first major championship at Pebble Beach - where difficult lies are commonplace. Here he tells you how to play a shot with the ball below your feet:

This is a really tough shot because the ground is throwing your weight forwards, and you need to make a conscious effort to stay balanced. Stay on your toes, but don’t over-balance. What’s more, staying balanced at address is not enough; you need to stay balanced right through the swing.
