4. Bladed wedge drill

Boost your precision by rolling some balls with a wedge.

You may struggle with this drill at first, as it requires a very precise contact to get the ball rolling smoothly. But with perseverance you will quickly become aware of any excess body movement. This drill helps get your hands working in unison without being too wristy in order to deliver the club to the ball at the correct angle and produce the precise contact point the leading edge must strike. A mis-hit will cause you to chip or top the ball while a good strike will get it running smoothly.
