Adding power to your swing

Do you want to add power to your golf game? Watch this Nick Clemens golf video tip to see how…

STEP ONE

When setting your stance, try having your right foot pointing straight and the left foot pointing outwards in order to encourage resistance on the way back and allowing you to get your weight through when striking the ball.

STEP TWO

Lower the right shoulder to ensure that you get a higher launch angle to the back of the golf ball, but more importantly to put some more weight at the top of the golf swing so you end up behind the ball.

STEP THREE

Focus on the leg action. Try to maintain the same distance between the knees on the backswing, allowing you to coil the upper body against the lower. On the downswing encourage the right knee to move towards the left in order to have a successful weight transfer through the entire swing.

Follow these tips to gain more distance on your drives.
