jan17 macgregor mt range pga show

One of the hottest new stories at the show is the release of MacGregor’s new product line-up for 2008. Greg Norman, who recently became a part owner in MacGregor Golf, held a press conference to announce their full range of new equipment, including a impressive range of irons, putters, wedges and woods.

The oldest golf company in the world claims its returning to its roots with their “MT” line of tour inspired products. There’s no doubting the quality, technology and style of a very impressive line-up and I can’t wait to try the range and let you know how they perform. The MT range will replace the MACTEC models launched a couple of years ago and I reckon it will really put MacGregor back on the map in terms of serious quality golf gear.

Among a number of new iron models, the MT Irons target low to mid handicap players who desire a classic head shape combined with game improvement technology. They feature a Cup Face which is designed to enhance feel whilst offering incredible forgiveness and distance control on off-centre hits by dramatically enhancing the size of the sweet spot. This patented Cup Face 360º Technology will be used in all MT Drivers, MT Fairway woods, MT Hybrid woods, and Irons and we’ll be bringing you information on the whole range very soon, so stay tuned!
