Wiltshire’s classy Manor House Hotel & Golf Club, one of the most spectacular golfing gems in the Cotswolds, is  encouraging more golfers to become full members…by offering FREE golf for a year to newcomers who join before the end of April 2008.

They will not pay subscriptions during that period yet enjoy all the facilities at the club that is already being tipped as a venue for future tournament events.

The course has undergone a major refurbishment in recent times, but the recommended changes have now been fully completed, the most significant being the addition of more distance to a total of 6,500 yards to match the power-hitting of the top pro’s.

And they’ been successfully put to the test by Europe’s leading players including the 2007 Order of Merit winner Justin Rose, Ryder Cup hero Colin Montgomerie and Luke Donald.

In addition, five new teeing areas have been constructed and three others, not previously in regular use, brought back into play. There has also been some imaginative re-routing of holes to avoid bottlenecks and speed up the pace of play.

Mark Sealey, Director of Golf at Manor House says: “The course provides the ultimate golfing experience for all ages and abilities and together with these changes is worthy of challenging the world’s top golfers”.

The original course, designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, stands in 365 acres of rolling countryside and is a 15mins drive from Bristol and Bath.
