Argentine Angel Cabrera has booked himself a place at the HSBC World Match Play Championship in October, courtesy of his victory at the US Open.

Cabrera joins World No 1 Tiger Woods, defending champion Paul Casey and Masters champion Zach Johnson in the field, with the remainding 12 spots yet to be decided.

The event takes place between October 11-14 with prize money of £1m for the winner at the Wentworth event.
