Cobra has followed up its high profile King Cobra Speed LD Series driver launch with a family of accompanying LD Series Fairway metals.
Complementing the new Speed LD Drivers, the LD fairway metals feature all the technological innovations developed for the drive line-up have been applied to the fairway metals. The fastback crown and large face creating a lower and further back centre of gravity and a high MOI for superior distance and accuracy.
The LD fairway metals are Speed-Tuned to ball speed, the key variable in determining the best fitting specification for a golfers swing and playing characteristics.
Available in both F/Speed and M/Speed options, as well as seniors and ladies specs, the LD fairway metals, as with the drivers, are designed for specific ball speed players. The F/Speed (15.5˚, 18˚ and 21˚) caters to the fast speed player looking to maximise their distance and accuracy, promoting a slight draw ball flight with low/mid spin.
The M/Speed (15.5˚, 18˚ and 21˚) delivers the optimum choice for moderate ball speed players with a strong fade or slice. The M/Speed utilises the shot correcting draw bias through its offset design and lighter shaft option, helping square the face at impact for longer, straighter shots.
The ladies and seniors options have been designed specifically with swing characteristics in mind, providing superior performance from the tee and the fairway.
The Cobra LD Fairway metals have a RRP of £148 and will be available from Mid March 2007.
