mar20 Woods slam odds

Tiger Woods has become the first player ever quoted at single figure odds to win the coveted Grand Slam, with William Hill now making him just 8/1 to win all four Majors this season, having originally been quoted at 50/1.
‘We already face a significant six figure payout in excess of quarter of a million if Tiger can achieve the Slam and we honestly don’t really want a mich heftier liabiloity than that – but every time we cut his odds, he wins another tournament and the punters steam in for him again. I can’t believe he is now at single figure odds but even that has not stemmed the tide of support for Tiger’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills now offer 8/1 for the Grand Slam in 2008; 6/1 that he wins any three of the four Majors; 5/2 any two; 7/4 any one; and 3/1 none at all.
