Monty reflects on missing Ryder Cup

Colin Montgomerie was in reflective mood when he spoke to the Digital News Agency just a couple of days after missing out on a place in Nick Faldo’s Ryder Cup team.

Monty had played in eight consecutive tournaments since making his debut in 1991 but has taken a pragmatic approach to missing out on a trip to Valhalla.
