Tiger Wood’s US Open golf clubs

Tiger Woods produced one of the most phenomenal displays of golf the world has seen to claw himself back to victory at Torrey Pines but what magic golf clubs did he use to pull it off?

With a 7,643-yard layout to contend with the emphasis was on both length and accuracy so Tiger Woods had to choose his golf clubs very carefully.

Unlike Phil Mickelson, who loves to tinker with his golf club set, Tiger Woods rarely makes changes. When courses are running fast and the rough is not especially wet or deep, he commonly takes out his 19° 5-wood and puts in a 2-iron.

As you might recall, he used the 2-iron off the tee on many occasions at Royal Liverpool when he won the 2006 British Open. At Torrey Pines, the 5-wood is in the bag under a Kiwi bird head cover (an homage to his caddie, Steve Williams, who is from New Zealand).
