Titleist 909 hybrid

Published:

The Titleist 909 range has already created lots of interest after it was put into play at the USPGA and the Titleist 909 hybrid is one of the favourites.

The TG test team has been putting the new range into play and the good news is that the initial opinions on the looks of the new clubs tranalsate into performance on the course too.

The best news is that the Titleist 909 hybrid is much easier to hit than the current 585 Hybrid, which means that it should appeal to a much wider range of players.

To see what we thought of it check out our exclusive first hit video review by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

The extra forgiveness has been achieved through increasing the head size and lengthening the face with Tour approved profiles, while deeper placed weighting adds stability and improves distance on mis hits, which certainly helped when our golfers were hitting them

There is  a range of lofts availe too (15°, 17°, 19°, 21°, 24°) and lie angles of 58°, 58.25°, 58.5°, 59°, 59.5° to suit pretty much any level of player going. And coupled with Titleist Aldila Voodoo Hybrid and Titleist Diamana Blue 85 Hybrid shafts you do feel like you're holding a quality golf club.
