What golf clubs and ball does Adrian Meronk use? Our in-depth review of what’s in the bag of the Polish superstar.

Adrian Meronk has very much become a household name over the past couple of years and has cemented himself as one of the best Europeans in the game.

The Pole was extremely unlucky to miss out on representing Team Europe at the 2023 Ryder Cup. However, that’s well behind him after storming through the field with a pair of 66s over the weekend to emerge victorious at the 2023 Andalucia Masters less than a month after the Ryder Cup concluded.

Today's Golfer What's In The Bag is brought to you in association with Callaway Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X golf balls.

Adrian Meronk wins the 2023 Andalucia Masters

Meronk’s most recent victory is his second of 2023 (third of the season), and his fourth in the last 16 months – making the Ping Tour player one of the most decorated players in the professional game over this time period. He’s had the most victories on the DP World Tour since winning his first title at the 2022 Irish Open at Mount Juliet.

Our Features Editor, Michael Catling, recently caught up with Adrian Meronk, who told Today’s Golfer how much he enjoys playing golf in Australia. This may be because of the success he’s enjoyed over there – picking up his second DP World Tour victory back in December 2022 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open.

That week he beat home favorite, Adam Scott, who he played the final round with. Meronk said it was a special moment to beat the former World No.1.

“He was always my role model growing up… but beating him in the final group in front of the big crowds in Australia is just quite an unbelievable experience.”

The 30-year-old remains the only Polish golfer to have won an event on the DP World Tour and I’m sure he’ll add many more victories to his CV over the coming years.

Being a Ping staffer, the majority of Meronk’s bag is made up of Ping equipment and while he’s having much success it’s unlikely he’ll be switching allegiances anytime soon.

Let’s take a look at the specific models the Polish star elects to use.

What’s In The Bag: Adrian Meronk

What driver does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk plays with a Ping G430 Max Driver (10.5°) with a Fujikura Speeder Evolution V1 661-X shaft.

Price: £525.00 / $547.00 RRP
The Polish star plays with Ping's most forgiving driver model. It clearly pays off because he is above tour average on the DP World Tour for both driving distance and accuracy.

What fairway wood does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk reaches for a Ping G425 Max Fairway Wood (14.5°) with a Fujikura Speeder Evolution V1 757-X shaft

Price: £299.00 / $373.99 RRP
Like the driver, Meronk opts for Ping's most forgiving model in the fairway wood. However, he continues to play with his trusted previous model G425 rather than swapping for the newer Ping G430.

What hybrid does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk bridges the gap to his irons with a Ping G425 Hybrid (19°) with a Ping Tour 85-X shaft

Price: £249.00 / $299.00 RRP
Hybrid's are very personal and not all golfers choose to play with one, but Meronk does! His hybrid matches his fairway wood being that it's G425 rather than G430. The three-hybrid bridges the gap to his irons.

What irons does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk plays with Ping iBlade irons (4-PW) with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts

Price: £180.00 / $190.00 RRP (per club)
The majority of Ping staffers play with either the new i230 or the previous model i210, but Meronk still plays with iBlade irons that launched in 2016. This season on the DP World Tour, Meronk sits 5th for GIR - why would you change your irons?

Unfortunately, if you want to play with the same irons as Meronk (Ping iBlades), you would only be able to find them secondhand. However, if you want to purchase a very similar model, check out the Ping i230 irons.

What wedges does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk opts for a set of three Titleist Vokey Design SM9 Wedges (50˚-12F, 54˚-10S, 58º–10˚S) with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shafts

Price: £159.00 / $179.00 RRP (per club)
For the first time, the Pole moves away from Ping and switches things up with the wedges. He decides to lean on Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges to help in the short game.

What putter does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk's weapon on the greens is a Ping Vault 2.0 Ketsch Putter

Price: £249.00 / $279.99 RRP
Another older club in the Ping staffer's golf bag is the Ping Vault 2.0 Ketsch putter which is from 2018. Putting hasn't been the strongest part of Meronk's game this season, so will we see a new putter in the bag sometime soon?

Meronk might look to switch to a more recent model that looks and performs very similarly to what he currently uses - such as the Ping Fetch.

What golf ball does Adrian Meronk use?

Adrian Meronk elects to use Titleist Pro V1 golf balls

Rrp: £50.00

Price: £44.99
Like the majority of professional golfers, Meronk chooses to play with one of the best golf balls on the market. Titleist's Pro 1 and Pro V1x golf balls are arguably the best premium golf balls on the market because of how widely used they are on Tour. The four-time DP World Tour winner chooses to play with Pro V1 over Pro V1x.
