Campo Real Golf Club

What we say

Close to the sea and with excellent weather which makes it possible to play all year, Portugal attracts some of the most discerning golfers in the world, who come to enjoy courses that vary in both design and difficulty. Golf-lovers can also take advantage of our hospitality, fine cuisine and culture, to make their stay even more enjoyable. CampoReal Resort is taking shape in the heart of Portugal’s enchantingly rural “Oeste” (west) region, near Torres Vedras, just a 30-minute drive from Lisbon and 15 minutes from the beaches. CampoReal is already known as Portugal’s most exciting residential, golf and leisure development. The name translates literally as “the Royal Meadow” and was inspired by the first Kings of Portugal who used the area as their personal hunting ground. Donald Steel designed CampoReal’s 18-hole golf course. The facility includes a Club House consisting of a reception, bar restaurant, golf shop and other golf services. The course covers an area of 55 hectares and is 6009 metres in length, and is surrounded entirely by well-appointed buggy paths. Get to know the golf course and location now, by visiting our webpage www.camporeal.pt (Portuguese and English version) CampoReal hosts a luxury 5 star hotel adjoining the course. It is being operated by the much-respected Starwood Hotels, under the Westin Hotels & Resorts brand. Additional facilities will include a Spa, tennis academy, and a modern equestrian centre.

Your Reviews

  • 3.5 out of 5 CampoReal

The Golf course is good, well kept. The shape of the course is interesting, a bit taff to play, due to hills. I recommend a buggy and not to be in hurry. Fair quality / price. Good value, especially for hotel guests. Interesting web page: http://www.portugalgolf.net/en/?sec=golfcourses&id=460

I played a few courses in this area during a trip to the Lisbon area and have to say that it's so much more 'real portugal' that the vilamoura area - and the courses are pretty specacular. Campo is set over rolling terrain and is a really enjoyable test.
