Golf El Puerto

Golf El Puerto has that grin factor in spades. It’s not a long track, but there are enough bunkers and water to keep you on your toes. This is a fantastic new golf course with a superb range of varied and dramatic holes. Conditioning is generally excellent as the golf club poached one of Valderrama’s greenkeepers to come and oversee golf course maintenance! Considering the golf course’s holes, condition and length, it’s not surprising the golf club is building a reputation quickly and is hosting some decent tournaments.

Golf El Puerto was built by former Ryder Cup star Manuel Pinero in 2001 with tour events in mind. The golf course is certainly tough enough, stretching to 7,000 yards and with plenty of water to keep you honest. In fact it must be avoided on every hole from the 2nd to the 10th. Careful choice of tees ensures the golf course is playable for all standards.
