Los Naranjos Golf Club

What we say

Los Naranjos Golf Club opened in 1977 and Los Naranjos is in Marbella's famed 'Golf Valley'. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr, its front nine is quite open. The back nine is a different story, with holes darting through the heavily scented orange groves that give the golf course its name. A commitment to customer service makes this one golf course where you are assured of a warm welcome.

  • 2 out of 5 Lost quite a bit of it's shine......

General condition of greens, fairways and tees has dropped quite a bit since I played this course last back in 2010. Now I palyed it again the 27th of October 2014 and I felt disappointed. The quality from before seemed to compensate and make up for the mistakes in the design and all the blind holes, especially the first 9 holes. Second 9 it gets a bit better, but the poor quality of the greens, keeps the rate below avarage.

Played this course and I have to say it was fantastic, set off in the middle of villas with stunniing views of the mountains and countryside. The greens and general tidyness of the course are fantastic. Some of the holes are truly breathtaking. The clubhouse is amazing and welcoming. Well worth a visit

Having played over half a dozen courses on the Costa, this is by far the best. Great layout which is not too demanding but the greens still leave a challenge if you get to them in regulation. Fantastic clubhouse, great facilities but none of that stuffiness you can get at some top notch clubs. If you visit the Costa Del Sol you must play this course.
