  • 4 out of 5 DARTMOUTH GOLF CLUB WEST BROMWICH NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ONE IN DEVON ( the SNOBBY ONE)

    By Podgy pete

This course is a hidden gem, it is hard to find down a small side road near Sandwell Hospital but well worth a visit especially in summer there are no booked times or queuing up to play you just pay your Ackers and away you go - only around £10 for 9 holes. The course is a toughie with small beautifully kept greens and nice rolling neat fairways and lots of TREES around but so easy on the eye and pretty (must remember to take an axe next time for those trees ) only joking !! Staff were very friendly and members too ( unlike some Clubs who resent visitors) so we shall be back next summer for more of this smashing little course, the lockerooms were spotless clean although the toilets were old they too were clean but basic and need modernising the bar was not open which was a minus as it appears there is no steward at present but if you like your golf unhurried and easy going this is the place !!!!

Only 9 holes - but different tee position on 2nd 9 tough testing course set in rolling wooded valley - great greens !! but watch out for them pesky trees !! cannot believe only £10 for 9 holes £15 for 18 hard to find down small side road but very quiet and select u can just walk on - no waiting which is great - lovely in the summer months never crowded, a real hidden gem of a course . only criticism is that there was no food available on the day which is a shame as there is no steward at present so I was told - shop was very clean but not much stock at moment clean lockerooms and surrounds a must play course will be back very soon.

A lovely little course - friendly staff too especially the tall chap Glen with the short hair - very knowledgeable. well kept greens and fairways - no rush - never crowded and value for money £10 for 9 holes, locker rooms nice and tidy, wish there was food available though - only £700 full membership, no queuing to play - pity i live so far away - or would be member here for sure GREAT LITTLE COURSE .WATCH OUT FOR TREES.

  • 4.5 out of 5 The best little 9 hole course in the midlands

    By bassplucker

I have played this course 4 times! each time I say I'm going to return, nice peeps at reception 2 fore 1 aceppted no problem. The 1st hole par 5 is a giant 600yds plus and they say it's going to be 700 soon 2nd is the stroke index1 blind green!!  lovely parkland with nice views on the 6th and 7th of the traffic jams on the M5/M6 link, it makes you glad your on a nice golf course. Quiet most afternoons different tee's for the other 9 to make 18 holes. A good challenge for all standards of golfer, 5mins from J1/ M5, try it on a sunny day with a friend.
