Stokesley Golf Centre

What we say

This nine-hole par-3 track opened last summer and is ideal for juniors and beginners. If you don’t fancy using the driving range, it’s a decent if uninspiring way to test your pitching and putting. Otherwise, you can always try the on-site crazy golf!

Stokesley Golf Course is set in beautiful countryside at the foot of the Cleveland Hills, with an outlook to both Captain Cooks Monument and Roseberry Topping. The course which opened in 2008 has been built to the highest standard and is suitable for beginners right through to established golfers. The holes range from 104 yards to 189 yards and are all Par 3's.

In general this course isn't bad for a bit of short game practise if you only have a few hours spare. All holes are from 100-180ish yards so nothing too difficult. There is hardly any sand to be seen too, so perfect for those just starting to learn or the more experienced golfer just looking for a relaxing easy game. The staff were very friendly and the other golfers were too.  The driving range is good and is more than acceptable however the pro shop is rather small but does have all of the essentials should you find yourself in need.  I think im right in saying that the par 3 course isn't particularly that old and for that reason there isnt any trees etc to be competing with either but if i remember correctly they have planted quite a few so i am sure that in time to come, when it has matured a little, it will be a lovely little course.    Overall a nice few hours were spent at this course, and i am sure that if i only have a few hours spare i will revisit and have a nice relaxing game again
