PGA National Ireland (Slieve Russell)

What we say

Formerly known as Slieve Russell, the rebranded PGA National Ireland is one of the best parkland golf courses the country has to offer.

PGA National Ireland, which you may know better as Slieve Russell, is one of only eight PGA National designated resorts in the world and one of Ireland’s top parkland golf courses.

Designed by Patrick Merrigan, one of the men behind Old Head of Kinsale, it sits within a mature country estate that is the basis for one of our GB&I Top 100 resorts.

Immaculately conditioned, many holes at PGA National Ireland wrap around the lakes and drumlins of the natural landscape.

It can stretch over 7,000 yards from the back tees and its exacting greens add to the difficulty – but forward tees make it playable for all.

A beautiful, peaceful parkland that is now receiving the recognition it deserves.
