Another top De Vere stayand- play venue with Dave Thomas once again delivering the golfing goods in an outstanding par-72 parkland layout. The course is just 20-years-old but has matured nicely, though you need to make your score on the pretty parkland front nine. The back nine meanders through rich woodland and is considerably more demanding. You’ll do particularly well to walk off the punishing 17th with a par as a valley, stream or sand are likely to gobble up a short approach shot.
As you would expect the facilities, including a classy clubhouse, are top notch and don’t be surprised to see a Premier League superstar, or two, celebrating or drowning their sorrows in the 19th afterwards – it’s extremely popular with footballers in the north west.
