CLUB COMMENT: Re-bunkering on the 4th, the 10th bunkers have been refurbished, and on the 15th and 16th holes the greenside bunkers have been reconstructed.

A superb driving course which demands longer carries off the tee than the Old. With fewer trees than the Old, there’s even more heather to be wary of. The stretch of holes from the 4th to the 7th – the par-5 6th is a tremendous hole – are the pick of a course which holds its own with its famous sister.
