This is the premier course in a town which many golfers will find more appealing than St Andrews. It has been increased to a muscular 6,854 yards off the tips, although it remains a more friendly 6,562 off the whites. Begins with a memorable march up Gullane Hill which culminates in one of the best views in golf.
