Even on a miserable day it’s impossible not to enjoy yourself here. Boat of Garten is achingly beautiful owing to its location alongside the River Spey in the Cairngorms. The holes are cut between birch, heather and broom and the sub-6,000 yardage means you have the chance to smell the flowers along the way.
