If you arrive looking forward to another of East Lothian’s great links, you will be disappointed; it is only partly seaside in nature. Indeed, its parkland sections are arguably its best, with the 5th a terrific par-4 dog-leg with a two-tier green. It’s short, but there are no par 5s and over half the two-shotters are over 400 yards.
