Tecina,La Gomera.
Tenerife and Gran Canaria usually take the plaudits in terms of Canary Island golf. But Tecina on the tiny island of La Gomera deserves our attention – as you can see for yourself.
It plays almost totally downhill which means you are not only getting full value for your drives but also constant, fabulous views of the sea. Indeed, the distance between the top and bottom of the course is 175m.
La Gomera isn’t especially easy to get to but Tecina offer helpful ‘golf & ferry’ packages from Tenerife with Fred Olsen which are both good value and low hassle.
