Dummer Golf Club

What we say

Set in over 165 acres of tranquil Hampshire countryside, Dummer Golf Club offers golfers exceptional playing and practice facilities. The par 72 golf course was designed by Peter Alliss to an extremely high standard and incorporates numerous lakes, undulations and bunkers.

The tees and greens are USGA constructed while a full irrigation system from fairways, tees and greens helps to maintain the course in peak condition all year round.

Your Reviews

  • 3 out of 5 Quite bland, needs to toughen up

    By Brian T

Wide open course, with some huge bunkers, and a little bit of water (only really in play twice). Greens felt good, but rough was not very severe. Some rerouting changes so the course book does not match the hole numbers. They are also looking at some deisgn changes, bringing in more water, slight routing changes. These should make it a more difficult course. I sprayed my drives around and still played it well. Water on the 5th and 18th is the only worry. 13th has a beach in front of it. 18th makes an easy reach if you go over the water. practise green is too far away from the tee, but the driving range is good. Small pro shop, and Decent bar.

  • 3 out of 5 Shame about price hike

Good club that plays well all year round, good facilities and clubhouse. Some testing holes, good playability for all ranges of golfing ability. DOWNSIDE IS... Recent price hike now makes the course not so good value for money compared to others.. EVEN WITH A PLAYERS CARD!!

  • 4.5 out of 5 delight at dummer

dummer golf club is a fantastic course to play all year round. Fantastic draining means there is never any need for temp greens or driving mats. You pay for 18 holes and that is what you get! It is a striking and picturesque course that is a challenge for all levels of golfer. When the sun shines, get your driver out let rip on the generous fairways and enjoy yourself. The 17th is a monster par three with trouble either side, a truly great test. Haven't mastered the course yet, but as an 18 handicapper, I will get there one day! The 19th hole is second to none in terms of comfort, service and ambience. On a cold winters day after a tough 18 holes, there is no more welcoming sight than the roaring log fire in the lounge area whilst ordering something to warm the cockles! A super all round course
