What we say...
Pin Seeker technology with JOLT technology, 5x mag, 1000-yard range, 300+ to flag, weighs 187g. Tacky grip, 1,000-yard range and compact size. Slick and rainproof design. JOLT Technology delivers short, vibrating bursts to reinforce the laser has locked onto the flag.
As reviewed in our 2014 Distance Devices Test - winner of our Gold Award: Has a decent weight and shape to it. The black/red/white combination works well. Of all the functions out there, the JOLT is a favourite to let you know the flag has been located. The Bushnell targeted most to the amateur. Little to fault – it looks and feels good and is easy to use. The JOLT function means you don’t have to waste time re-scanning flags checking you’ve got the distance. A very sturdy design with modern styling and functions. JOLT function still offers added value at this price point. A little bit of a delay when displaying the JOLT distance after the vibration at times from long range.
As reviewed in our 2013 Rangefinders Test - winner of our Gold Award: The team had lots of compliments and few negatives. Testers loved the size, shape and modern aesthetics with the modern white and black with red trim. It’s light and the laser button is easy to press, making it stable and easy to lock on to the flag. All testers commended the JOLT function, giving a reassuring vibration to let them know the flag has been picked out from the surroundings. Joel found there was often a delay of up to a second for the flag reading to appear on the display, but found it easy to pick out hazards off the tee. The case is sturdy and compact too, clipping easily to the bag. It’s the cheapest of the Bushnell models, offering rapid-fire accuracy at a reasonable price.
